A full-semester contract position is available for an Occupational Therapist (OT) within a high school district in Glendale, AZ. This role involves providing OT services itinerantly across multiple high schools, supporting students' developmental and functional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to high school students across various campuses within the district.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document progress.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development initiatives related to student support.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license required.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- IVP (Individual Volunteer Pool) card as mandated by the district.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with high school students.
- Ability to manage an itinerant caseload effectively across multiple sites.
